The Orioles made 25 picks on day three of 2012 First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday, completing rounds 16-40. This year, the Orioles selected 40 players overall, 20 pitchers and 20 position players, with 28 of their 40 selections being college products. The Orioles selected seven left-handed pitchers and 13 right-handed pitchers, six catchers, two first basemen, two second basemen, three shortstops and seven outfielders.
